Sabah Adventure Challenge Race Itinerary 2008

19th March 2008

 

8:00pm Registration and distribution of race bibs, shirts and kit

 

Location: Megah D’Aru Hotel, Tanjung Aru.

 

20th March 2008

 

9:00am Registration and distribution of race bibs, shirts and kit and collection of Kit Bags and Mountain Bikes

 

Location: Hyatt Kinabalu Hotel

 

2:00pm Collection of kit bags and Mountain Bikes

 

Location: Megah D’Aru Hotel, Tanjung Aru

 

3:00pm Departure from Hyatt and Megah D’Aru Hotel’s with separate pick up’s

 

*Note: If you are arranging your own accomodations, you will need to get to either hotels at least 45 minutes before transportations depart. Please ensure you have informed us of your travel plans and which hotels you will be staying at as we need to organize transports from the prize giving dinner to send you back to your respective hotels after the race.

 

4:15pm Arrival at Camp Site and assignment of tents for teams who have paid for rental of tents. Collection of Mountain Bikes and Kit Bags.

 

5:00pm Registration and distribution of race bibs, shirts and kit for teams arriving late morning and afternoon

 

6:00pm Dinner

 

7:00pm Race Briefing

 

21st March 2008

 

6:00am Breakfast

 

7:00am Loading of all kit bags onto logistics vehicle

 

8:00am START

 

23rd March 2008

 

3:00pm FINISH and transfer of teams to Perkasa Hotel, located in Kundasang (15 minutes from Kinabalu National Park HeadQuarters).

 

5:30pm Dinner and Prize Giving Ceremony
